Recently breaking into this year’s DJ Mag Top 100 poll for the first time ever at #71, Blasterjaxx—producers Thom Jongkind and Idir Makhlaf—owe a large part of their success to their ability to always deliver high-voltage, energetic tunes such as “Snake.” Earlier this year, the duo released mega hit “Fifteen” on Hardwell’s Revealed Recordings, which sent their careers to new heights. Hardwell’s own edit of the track later topped the Beatport charts. Blasterjaxx’s remix of Tiësto‘s trance version of Samuel Barber’s “Adagio For Strings” also gained the group major praise across the electronic music world.
