Daddy's Groove celebrate an outstanding 2013
After an outstanding 2013 to say the least, Italian House trio Daddy’s Groove are now releasing a video showcasing the huge success they’ve had this year.
The video, featuring footage of Daddy’s Groove performing before a huge crowd, showcases their energetic live shows as well as their numerous Beatport chart successes, including the No 2 spot for their track “Unbelievable”. Soundtracked by their mighty House anthem ‘Stellar’, the short clip shows Daddy’s Groove members atop a DJ booth.
Throughout 2013 the Italian trio has continued to assert their dominance over today’s electronic music scene. Released in January, ‘Stellar’ quickly reached No 3 in the Beatport Top 10 chart, with its official video amassing more than 1.3 million views on Youtube. This massive success has been quickly followed-up by 4 other huge singles: ‘Vertigo’ on Guetta’s Jack Back label, ‘Tilt’ with Cryogenix [Spinnin], Walking On Air’ with Dino [Spinnin], and ‘Unbelievable’ feat. Rob Adans [Doorn], which has reached the No.2 position in the Beatport chart.
Signed to labels like Size Records, Axtone, Spinnin, Doorn & Testpressing they also have officially remixed artists such as James Blunt, David Guetta, Usher & Ludacris, Axwell, Ingrosso, Laidback Luke, Whitney Houston & Tristan Garner. As well as DJ’ing at the most prestigious clubs and events around the world, Daddy’s Groove have recently embarked upon their residency at David Guetta’s renowned ‘F*** Me I’m Famous’ residency at Pacha, Ushuaïa, Ibiza & Miami this summer.

“Black Magic” from Luigi Rocca is a dark, tech-riddled journey through sound. Coming out August 9th, the track has a bizarre vocal sample.“Black Magic” samples a recording ofJonestown and Peoples Temple. If the sample doesn’t shy you away, Luigi Rocca has perfectly crafted a tech house tune that stays entertaining from start to finish.

Mat Zo Teams Up With Chuck D On New Single
Impossible to easily categorise, Mat Zo is on a roll right now. Just this year alone, the LA-living British producer has wowed the dance world with his 70-track Essential Mix for Radio 1, topped the Beatport chart with “Easy” (w/ Porter Robinson) and laid down edit-heavy, genre-blurring sets everywhere from EDC Las Vegas to Ibiza – while DJs as diverse as Skrillex, Madeon, Pete Tong, Above & Beyond, Steve Aoki and A-Trak all support his tracks.
Following the universally loved “Easy” with Porter Robinson (Mat’s first UK singles chart hit), the prodigious talent continues to assert himself as one of the most unique and interesting talents in electronic music with the high-energy club anthem “Pyramid Scheme” – featuring vocals from Public Enemy’s Chuck D.
Propelled by the distinctive vocals of Chuck D (who re-recorded his “rock the funky beat” hits specifically for the track), “Pyramid Scheme” blends elements of electro-house, hip-hop and big room progressive in Zo’s unique, dancefloor destroying style.
Mat Zo feat. Chuck D “Pyramid Scheme” will be releasing on 13 August worldwide via Anjunabeats/Astralwerks.
