GTA, The Chainsmokers and Fatman Scoop make way to the Valley | MĀYĀ DAY + NIGHTCLUB

MĀYĀ DAY + NIGHTCLUB ANNOUNCES ADDITIONS TO UPCOMING SPRING LINEUP


Māyā Day + Nightclub and Steve LeVine Entertainment & Public Relations (SLE) announce GTA, The Chainsmokers and Fatman Scoop will be making their way to Old Town Scottsdale. Māyā Day + Nightclub, located at 7333 E. Indian Plaza in Scottsdale, AZ. Doors open at 9 p.m. and the events are 21 years and older.


  • 2.16 :: Fatman Scoop – SKAM Artist DJ Fatman Scoop, known for his booming voice, will be performing at Māyā for “Sunday Phunday.” The artist won “Best Short Form Music Video” at the 2005 Grammy Awards for the song “Loose Control” with Missy Elliott and Ciara. Scoop has worked with 50 Cent, Bob Sinclair, Chris Brown, David Guetta, Missy Elliot, P. Diddy, Skrillex, Usher and many more. He is a voiceover talent, stand up comedian, TV Host and Syndicated Radio Host/DJ for Full Throttle Radio. He also has a guest spot as celebrity DJ/Co-host of the BET show 106 & Park.

  • 2.28 :: The Chainsmokers – New York City based producers/DJ duo Alex Pall and Drew Taggart, known as The Chainsmokers, have made a big name for themselves in only a few short years. Notorious for creating popular remixes, the duo has released tracks by, Cash Cash, Icona Pop, Say Lou Lou, The Wanted and many more. All of their original tracks have made the Top 100 charts on Hype Machine, including “Rookie” which was released in December 2012 and “#Selfie” (LIV at Midnight) released in November 2013. Their most recent remix, “NoNoNo” by Pumpin Blood has already made it to the Top 50 Remixes chart on Hype Machine upon its release in January.

  • 3.21 :: GTA – Miami natives Matthew Von Toth and Julio Mejia, also known as GTA, mesh techy-house beats with Hip Hop influences. GTA has collaborated with popular artists such as A-Track, Diplo, Laidback Luke and many more. After releasing their most popular original track, “Booty Bounce” featuring DJ Funk in December 2012, the pair’s popularity rose on the Electronic Dance Music (EDM) scene. The pair created their own mixtape called “Death to Genres,” with the release of their most recent volume, the pair compiled a diverse range of genres, pulling inspiration from all sides of the musical spectrum. GTA also just announced their “Death to Genres” tour with What So Not.

    Joining GTA will be Australian natives and electronic duo, What So Not (WSN). The duo released their debut album in November 2011 called “7 Dollar Bill” and remixed Major Lazer’s “Get Free” which has over 600,000 plays on SoundCloud.
