It is fair to say that Showtek have made 2013 their own, but never ones to rest on their laurels they have announced the launch of their latest venture: Skink. The Dutch producer duo will officially introduce the record label to the world with their new single ‘We Like To Party’, while fans can expect plenty more music on the way both from Showtek and a selection of other artists to come in 2014 and beyond.
Drawing its name from a particular species of lizard, the label embodies the characteristics of this unlikely emblem. Elusive and impossible to pin down, the skink is a survivor, making it the perfect symbol of Showtek’s continuing musical evolution and determination to sustain longevity with their endeavours.
