Having taken the helm for the first two releases on Guru with ‘Serial Killer’ and the fierce ‘Bad Guys’ alongside Tony Romera, French powerhouse Gregori Klosman invites a selection of artists to join the expanding roster for the five-track ‘Disciples EP 1′. Laying out the label’s singular vision, the EP delivers a selection of high octane club material.
Opening the EP is SUB Z3RO’s driving ‘Beatback’, before Tony Romera returns to the label alongside Burgundy’s for the gnarled ‘Monster’. Fellow Frenchman Damian William steps up with more ammunition in the form of ‘What Da Hell’, Teo Moss & Greg Hoffman don’t pull any punches on their aptly titled ‘Fight Club’ collaboration and Swiss wunderkind producer Calvin Bride completes the EP with the complex and powerful ‘Both Sides Of The Story’.
Having set the bar high with the first two Guru releases, Gregori Klosman turns his attentions to utilising his deft ear for talent on ‘Disciples EP 1′, and the results are sure to affirm the label’s position as a leader in its field.
